Born in 1943, Pierre Dukan has been a nutritionist doctor for more than thirty years, specialising in eating behaviour and nutritional rehabilitation. Author of numerous books on the subject, he is one of the leading experts in nutrition and has contributed to the scientific development of this discipline.

Pierre Dukan notably worked in the department of the eminent Professor Dreyfus at the Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris. He was the first to use the protein-based diet, which he introduced to the public with the publication of his bestseller “The Dukan Diet” (“Je ne sais pas maigrir”).
Structured into four simple phases, and above all effective in the long term, the Dukan method has already won over more than a million people!

Uniquely, he is a doctor who is not obsessed with thinness and even celebrates curves in “Men Prefer Curvy Women”(“Les hommes préfèrent les rondes”).
